Sum of Parts

Sum of Parts

ottava rima
by Lisabet Sarai

erotic poetry

A wisp of hair, a fingertip, a sigh,
The swelling shadow where your collar parts,
A tantalizing flash of ivory thigh
Above the lace. Your dancer’s ankle starts
Me dreaming of a rippling velvet cry
Wrung from your tender throat. With all your arts
You’d not escape my fever wild and true
If I could ever grasp the whole of you.

Bio: Lisabet Sarai has been a member of and contributor to the Erotica Readers & Writers Association more or less forever. She joined when her first novel Raw Silk hit the shelves in 1999 and she was totally clueless about the publishing world. Thirteen years later, with eight novels and nearly a hundred short stories to her credit, she can now claim to have a clue – but she still loves to hang out at ERWA.
