Lauren couldn’t wait to go skinny-dipping.
As Daniel expected, she was enchanted by the notion that such a bucolic oasis existed within the urban sprawl of metropolitan Boston. Daniel had been to Don and Evie’s house before and had become enchanted with the place himself. It was set far back and out of sight from a typical suburban street, and backed up to a tiny, sheltered cove notched into a tributary of the Charles River. It had been in Don’s family for generations, but only recently was the water deemed fit for swimming. In fact, almost the entire Charles had been cleaned and revitalized until it reached the basin between Boston and Cambridge.
When Don and Evie asked Daniel to housesit for a week, he jumped at the chance, and knew just whom he wanted to ask to keep him company at the miniature riverside estate.
Don had anchored a raft in the middle of the cove about ten yards offshore that had become a combination diving deck and sun platform. After the full moon had risen like a big silver dollar over the tree line on the opposite shore, Lauren skipped down to the cove and quickly shed her clothes, challenging Daniel, “I’ll race you to the raft.”
Daniel stripped and plunged in after her, knowing he had no chance. Lauren swam like a torpedo. Daniel was still halfway to the goal as Lauren hauled herself up the stepladder onto the raft. Daniel didn’t mind. He continued to tread water and look up at her standing in regal moonlight like a goddess.
As he hauled himself up onto the raft, Lauren giggled at his erection, “Cute rudder.”
He sat at the edge of the raft, preferring to look up at her long, lean body and gentle curves, thinking, Maybe, this is the one.
“Do you notice anything?” she said with a coy grin.
“I sure do, you wear moonlight beautifully.”
“Aww, besides that,” she laughed. When she thought he took too long to spot the obvious, she said, “I shaved my pussy.”
“Huh? Turn a little into the moonlight. Oh my gosh — you did.”
“What do you think? I never did that before.”
He said nothing, but sidled over to her and kissed her bare pout. Then he French-kissed those luscious nether lips as she moaned and her knees buckled. Kneeling together, their arms circled each other’s body in a tight embrace.
“Fuck me, Danny. Fuck me right now. Here. No preliminaries … please …”
He didn’t have to be told twice. He laid her down on her back and straddled her. His erection nudged her pouty lips. She was ready; he penetrated her slick cunt like a warm knife into butter. They instantly fell into an urgent rhythm. He kissed and nipped her face and neck and she dug her fingers into his hard ass. The raft rolled on the waves it broadcast from their passion.
As if sensing his impending orgasm, she held his face and shook her head. He stopped, his eyes desperate. She rolled him over and impaled herself on him, resuming the rhythm from the rider’s position. His eyes feasted on her swaying, hard-nippled breasts as she ground herself into him. Her eyes glazed. Then she shrieked, crying “Oh, Danny-Danny-Danny …”
He felt the rush of come as it rocketed out of his cock and she fell onto him all quivers and whimpers. Their bodies slipped together like two pieces of a locket. Daniel was overcome with a sense of absolute love for this woman. Yes, she’s the one.
At last, Lauren sighed, “Danny, let’s stay out here tonight … all night.”
He kissed her and chuckled.
“No, Danny, I mean it. It’s so beautiful here. I feel like we’re the only two people in the world in our own little Garden of Eden”
“You’ll be sore in the morning,” he said.
“I hope so,” she winked.
Their lovemaking resumed and ebbed until, exhausted, they dozed off in each other’s arms.
The summer dawn was breaking as Daniel awoke. It wasn’t the lightening sky that roused him, but the sound of traffic. He had never noticed traffic sounds there before, but in the early morning quiet he reasoned sound could carry quite a distance. Still, it sounded like cars were whizzing by, and not far way. He kissed Lauren, but she continued to slumber with her face on his arm.
He tried to focus his eyes on the tree line on the opposite shore. The trees appeared more distant than he knew they should be and … they were moving. Gently he slipped his arm from beneath Lauren’s face and sat up. A combination of panic and amusement rattled him. They were in the middle of the Charles River approaching the Lars Anderson Bridge and the stately ivy-clad red brick of Harvard.
“Holy Shit!” Daniel gasped.
Lauren stirred and rubbed her eyes. “Huh? What?”
“The raft must have broken loose while we were screwing …”
“What? What do you mean … oh my god!”
Lauren stood up and looked upstream, then turned right where early morning joggers off Memorial Drive in Cambridge ran in-place, gawking at the sight of her. Her attention shifted to the Boston side where screeching tires announced that she had also been spotted from Storrow Drive.
A solitary rower sliced past them, and then fumbled his oar when he spotted Lauren.
They were approaching Boston University. The sun had taken possession of the sky and the morning commute was in full swing.
“Danny, what are we going to do?”
“I don’t know. I suppose we could try to paddle to shore, but then what? We’re both bare-assed as the day we were born.”
“But, we just can’t stay in the middle of the river naked.”
Daniel began laughing.
“What?” Lauren demanded, though she also had difficulty suppressing a giggle. “This isn’t funny.”
“I’m sorry, Babe. But I think we’re going to lead the news on Fox before this is over.”
Lauren sat and shook her head. “My mother watches Fox. Oh, jeeeze.”
Overhead a woof-woof sound drew their attention. It was a traffic helicopter for one of the local radio stations.
“That’s it, we’ve been spotted,” Daniel said resignedly. Lauren crossed her arms over her breasts. Within minutes several other copters hovered or circled above them.
“I wish we had a radio,” Daniel mused. “At least we’d know what they were saying about us.”
“Oh, no. Danny look …” Lauren pointed to the Cambridge shore where crowds of people were lining up. About a half-mile ahead of them people were lined up along the Longfellow Bridge.
“Forget Fox, Honey,” Daniel laughed. “We’re going to be on the front page of the Herald. I can see the headline: ADAM & EVE ON A RAFT.”
“Oh, Danny, can they arrest us? I mean, it isn’t like we meant to go naked in public.”
“I don’t know. Depends on if they believe us, I guess.”
The raft drifted closer to the Longfellow Bridge and they could hear cheers and wolf whistles from the crowd lining the span between its towers that resembled salt-and-pepper shakers.
“Danny, I think I’m gonna dive underneath the raft, okay?”
“Better not. It isn’t so clean at this end.”
“But I feel so … naked.”
“Oh-oh.” Daniel pointed to the boat with the flashing blue lights emerging from under the bridge. “Looks like the state cops are going to pay us a call.”
“Oh my god … Danny, they’ll see my pussy.”
Daniel exploded in laughter and nearly fell off the raft. “Jesus Christ, Baby. You’re naked all over, but you’re worried they’re going to notice your bare pussy?”
“Well … I don’t want them to think I’m some kind of slut or something … stop laughing.”
Before Daniel could answer the police boat pulled alongside. “Ahoy! Come aboard.”
“Yes, Sir,” Daniel replied. “Could you toss a couple of blankets over to us?”
“Coming up.”
Daniel snatched the blankets and wrapped one around Lauren who was lamely trying to hide her pussy with her right hand while shielding her breasts with her left. The crowd on the bridge began to boo.
Daniel and Lauren stepped onto the police boat. A big sergeant with a wide, bright grin beneath dark sunglasses welcomed them onboard.
“Listen, officer, we can explain … I mean … we didn’t intend to end up naked on the river …”
“I’ll bet you have a story to tell, son. It can wait. Meanwhile, you and your girl can have a cup of coffee and we’ll see about towing your raft to shore.”
“Uh, thanks.”
Daniel and Lauren huddled together as the boat crew grinned, but otherwise refrained from any commentary.
“This is sooooo embarrassing,” Lauren whispered.
“I know. … By the way, will you marry me?”
“Huh? Oh God!”
“Better say yes, Missy,” the sergeant laughed. “There’ll never be a better time.”
“Yes! Yes-yes!”
Daniel hugged his girl. “Hey, Sarge. You’re the captain of this boat, right? Does that mean you can marry people?”
The sergeant and his crew let out a guffaw. “Tell you what. I’ll give you two a honeymoon cruise of the harbor. But you’ll have to keep your clothes on.”
“You got a deal,” Lauren said. She stood and kissed the sergeant.
As they approached the state police marine station the sergeant broke into song:
“Yeah, I love that dirty water … whoa-oh, Boston you’re my home …”
