Story criteria:
- Quality is key. Our editors are looking for creative, intellectual, and well-crafted stories that are never cheesy.
- We are looking for content that is mostly vanilla in nature and inclusive of a wide range of characters and couplings.
- Enthusiastic verbal consent and safe sex practices are a must.
- We are not interested in stories that feature sexually dominant males. Sexually dominant women or power-neutral partnerships are great.
- 1,500 to 3,000 words
The Legal Stuff
We are interested in purchasing the exclusive electronic publishing and audio rights to the stories that are selected. Payment starts at $35 per story.
The author will retain complete copyrights to their work.
If you would like to submit a story to MMURE without granting us exclusive publication rights, that is totally fine! Just specify this in your submission email and we will let you know if you are selected. This would also be the case if your story is already published elsewhere, but you would still like it to be reposted on MMURE. Unfortunately, we are unable to pay authors for stories that we do not have exclusive publishing rights to.
If you are submitting a long-form story or novel, we will work with you to break this story into shorter subparts.
How to submit:
Please email your story to write@mmure.com and include ‘MMURE Story Submission’ in the email subject.
All stories must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx) and saved in the following format: AuthorName_StoryTitle.docx. Please specify your pen name if you have one.
