About a year ago, I received the Mystic Wand for review and it’s had a place in my toybox ever since. When Good Vibrations gave me the chance to review the Mini Mystic Wand Rechargeable Wand vibrator, I had to give it a try.

Like its big sister, the Mystic Mini was well packaged but still had a slight plastic odor that was quickly resolved with a bath. I was (in my girlie way) happy that I received a bright pink Mystic Mini as my original Mystic Wand is bright pink also. The USB charger unit had both good and bad aspects to it. The wire from the unit to the plug for the Mystic Mini is very short but the USB unit has two USB ports in it so you’re not permanently giving up one of your USB ports to the vibrator. That said, it does not include a way to charge the Mystic Mini without a USB port. I solved this with a power to USB adapter that I can plug into an outlet it’s not required.

After labeling the USB charger unit so I’d remember what it belongs to later (a necessity at my house anyway), I plugged the Mystic Mini in to charge. Unlike many other rechargeable vibrators, the Mystic Mini doesn’t have a cover on the charging plug that you have to pry out but instead you just firmly push the tip of the charger through a silicone plug covering the charging port on the base of the vibrator and you’re off and charging. This is actually very nice for me because I’m always afraid I’ll tear off the covers (and have on a few).

I let the Mystic Mini charge overnight but couldn’t wait to play with it the next day. Thankfully the other household members were more interested in going out to dinner so I let them go without me.

The Mystic Mini Wand has six modes to play with, just like its big sister. There are three steady vibration speeds and three pattern modes. I did miss the separate on/off button, however. The Mystic Mini does a more typical cycle through power settings to turn it off. I was surprised at how quiet this little vibrator is but, for its size, it’s also pretty powerful.

A little lube and a nice quiet house and the experimentation did not disappoint! The Mystic Mini’s head is silicon coated so it needs a bit of lube, but I like that it doesn’t chatter against my clit ring. The low setting of the three steady speeds was lovely and a quick trip to orgasm for me. Once I’d settled down a bit from that first one I got to play with other settings. I did discover that the higher speed settings are actually into the land of more buzz than thrum which doesn’t tend to be my preference but boy, if you like high speed buzz, this vibrator is for YOU.

Unlike some rechargeable vibrators, the Mystic Mini’s battery seemed to last quite a while and I was able to play for almost an hour without feeling like it was petering out. That’s a long time for a rechargeable.

The Mystic Mini is a relatively small vibrator at six inches long by 1.25 inches in diameter. That’s about half the size of the big sister Mystic Wand and fits nicely in my hand while having enough length to be easily grasped and manipulated. Its head is on a flexible neck which I really enjoyed on the Mystic Wand but on the Mystic Mini is maybe a tad too flexible. I found myself really pushing on it sometimes to get enough pressure to come.

Because of the soft-touch coating, be sure to clean the Mystic Mini Rechargeable very well after each use. You can use a condom to be more certain to keep the vibrator clean.

If you are looking for a very portable vibrator that has a good amount of power, doesn’t need to be constantly fed batteries and is easy to care for as well as easy to use, the Mystic Mini Rechargeable Wand may be a great choice for you. If you need a vibrator that has a great deal of power and a more thrummy feel, you may find the Mini Mystic to be a bit too buzzy for you.

I really liked the Mystic Mini Wand and it’s earned a place in my keeper toy box, especially for its size and portability.
