I can't speak for all men that cheat, of course, but I have cheated a couple of times in my married life and the primary reason was the woman's encouragement to do so. That, by and large, is the main reason I would ever cheat - the woman wanted to have sex, plain and simple.

It's a man's biology that would cause us to cheat when the woman encourages it. It is the biology of the male species to respond to the female's need... which is stronger (at times) than any moral logic or what-have-you.

By the way, I had to tell my wife that I cheated. For her to find out any other way would not be acceptable. Surprisingly, she accepted it because she knew the circumstances and appreciated my honesty in 'confessing' to her... good woman and one that I've enjoyed for over 30 years.

If God told me to choose one woman to date or be married to, I couldn't. I haven't had a girlfriend in 10 years, I can't see myself dating or marrying one woman. I could be dating Ayanna but then there's Sonya at work who I want to fuck badly even though I'm in a relationship.

I believe marriage is a rip off. It's just not for me personally. I'd rather be single and be able to lust after as many women as possible. I live in downtown Milwaukee, I know several married women who are not happy in their current relationships. There are women who have boyfriends and children, but don't get the attention and love from their partner.

Married men and men who have girlfriends: If you aren't there for your woman, I will have no problem taking your spot on her "to do" list. Some men forget what a woman truly needs; I come along and their girl or wife starts calling my house. People just need to keep their significant other interested and occupied in a relationship, this ensures there is no reason to cheat or look for love outside the lines.

Hmmm, well, I guess the most obvious answer would be that something in the relationship is lacking. Although, I don't believe this is specific to men. They say men cheat for physical reasons and women for emotional. I disagree with that. A relationship needs to cover all bases on both sides to really maintain long-term strength and quality (but if two people are right for each other, that should be effortless, not a job). 

On the flip side, there's also the problem of co-dependency/extremely need/jealousy issues, most of which stem from insecurity. This, often 'identified' in women, is also a problem common to both genders. Plenty of couples simply grow apart, aren't well suited, started too young, whatever. There are a million reasons why it sometimes just doesn't work. In a perfect world I guess those unhappy in relationships would just say 'hey, it's not working out' and get out of the situation (obviously, this has it's drawbacks if children are involved). In a totally perfect world, we would all just hang back and only enter into and stay in relationships that work for us---hindsight's 20/20! Good luck everyone!
