I am currently a College Senior at a Midwest University, and this past March I spent Spring Break along with a few buddies in South Florida.

In preparation for the trip , beginning the previous October, I dedicated myself to getting in the best shape of my life: endless hours in the gym , change in diet, and avoiding alcohol.  The end result?  I packed 10 lbs. of lean muscle on my now well-defined 6'2" , 195 Lb. frame.

After 10 minutes passed I heard the gate to the pool open.  I see a very cute young woman enter, and she continues until she picks a chair about 10 ft from me.

I agree with all other writers who approve of men who look good in speedo bikini swimsuits.  If you have the proper build for such a revealing cut swim suit, then flaunt it baby!  I have been wearing speedo swimsuits all my life, since I was on the high school swim team.  I still am an avid lap swimmer, swimming 1 mile a day at the local YMCA.  A Speedo brief cut suit makes me swim better through the water and makes me feel sexy.  Women do notice me, and sometimes just look up at me and smile; others do giggle a bit, but I do not care. That is their issue and their problem.

Men should feel sexy in whatever they choose to wear, as women want to, as well.  There should be NO boundaries for men's swimwear, within reason.  A man is just as much a man, when he feels confident enough to accent and reveal his toned body, as any other man who thinks he is more macho or masculine wearing boxer shorts to the pool or beach.

In Europe, bikini brief swimsuits are a standard. It is only in the USA, that this so called standard of masculinity is imposed upon our society.  For all those US male bikini lovers...stand up and don't give up!  Keep on wearing those skimpy speedo swim suits!  One inch or less on the sides!  Yes!  James

There's a time and place for everything, including swim wear. For lap swimming, I wear speedo-type swim wear. When I hit the beach, I prefer to wear a bikini. I work out 5 times a week, have a nice tan, and practice good grooming habits.  My girlfriend has stated that toned, muscular, and fit men should wear speedos or bikinis. If my girl & I are at the beach, she readily admits that she loves checking out scantily-clad men. 

If you are a man that has considered a swimsuit change, I say "go for it". I believe our culture's dislike of skimpy male swim wear has a lot to do with the fact that a lot of men should not be wearing them. And believe me when I say this - if you're in good shape, confident not arrogant), and aren't afraid to take a chance, then make the change (my suggestion - try a red bikini with 1/2 sides and with a full back) you'll receive a good deal of female attention!
