This my sound kind of weird. But I've found a good way to get ones self off, if a guy, using a Ziploc bag, lube, and a bed. Put some lube in the bag, put the bag between the mattress and what ever happens to be under the mattress and insert erect penis in to the bag. You can vary the pressure by leaning on the mattress different amounts as you thrust.
