NEW EROTIC SHORT STORY COLLECTIONS FOR 2009
 
As from February 2009 we will be publishing five new collections of erotic short stories. Following four collections of paranormal erotic novellas in 07/08, and the collection of Vampire Erotica in November 2008 (now titled Lust at First Bite: Vampire Erotica by Black Lace), we are moving back to contemporary erotic short fiction anthologies.
 
Submission guidelines: your short story should be approximately 6,000 words long (though we now have a special rate for 3000 word-length stories), and not published anywhere in the world - websites excepted. Thematically, it should be written with the Black Lace guidelines in mind. Obviously you will not be tied to having to provide detailed plot, numerous characters and enough varied types of sex to fill a novel, but the story should be about more than 'some people having sex'. For a good idea of the kind of stories we like, get hold of a Wicked Words compilation. We do not want historical settings and we can only accept stories written for the theme (which, this time around, offers a very wide brief). The emphasis is on intensity, daring, imagination, tension, passion, pleasure, explicit action and whats-at-stake for the main character. We want to position these as suitable for the general reader as well as erotica fans.
 
We pay a flat fee of 150 providing your story is 6000 words long. Or will pay 75 for 3000 words. Payment is made on publication.

- Misbehaviour (deadline for stories 1st December 2008). Publication September 09

- The Affair (deadline for stories 2nd Feb 09). Publication November 2009

- Sexy Little Numbers (deadline for stories Jan 30th 2009) Publication August 2009. To feature the best in new erotica writing by female authors, covering a wide range of sexual fantasy, from vanilla to kink.
