ERWA Email Discussion List Information

Please note: The Erotica Readers & Writers Association discussion list is not a sex related chat room or a dating service. If you're looking for cyber-action try Adult Friend Finder, where anything can happen!

The Erotica Readers & Writers Association (ERWA) hosts a spirited, active, email discussion list - a community of people who enjoy exploring the provocative world of erotica and sexuality, and the challenges of writing erotica. Currently we have over 1250 subscribers, including readers and authors (published and aspiring) from around the world.

There are no fees or qualifications involved. The list consists of 4 opt-in sections. Focus is twofold:

1) To encourage and support people who want to share their thoughts about the sensual and the erotic. Social chatter covers a wide variety of personal and social issues.

2) To encourage and support authors interested in writing erotica. Topics include concerns, thoughts and opinions about the writing process, grammar, structure, content, formatting issues, publishing concerns, editing problems and other topics relevant to authorship.

For members who write erotic fiction, we host an informal workshop offering the opportunity for feedback, comments and critiques. Many of these stories are featured in the award winning Galleries of ERWA website. We ask authors privately (off-list) for permission to run their work in the Galleries for a period of one month.

Please note our story guidelines:

  • No rape (after-the-fact 'consent' is not acceptable)
  • No underage characters (no one under 18)
  • No incest
To protect ERWA subscribers and discourage copyright infringement, everything, and that means every post, every story, every poem, every word that is posted to ERWA list is the property of the originator (the person who wrote it). It is illegal to use anything, in any form, that is posted to ERWA list, or appears on ERWA website, without written permission from the author(s) who wrote it. If necessary, we will not hesitate to prosecute on behalf of ERWA subscribers.

Please note:

  • As mentioned above, ERWA is an active busy discussion group. Average number of daily emails depends on how many sections subscribers join.

  • The discussion group is in the form of an email list; this means discussions are shared privately, via email, among subscribers.

  • Soliciting in any way, shape or form is not allowed on ERWA discussion list.

If you want to subscribe to ERWA discussion email list, send an email to Adrienne stating you have read the above information and want to subscribe.
