Volponia

With the appearance of a long-in-the-tooth librarian and the soul of a lusty 17th-century wench, Volponia walks (usually barefoot) the streets of her mundane world unrecognized. Retired from marriage, she lives alone in Florida and devotes much time to reading, playing bridge and thinking about sex, not always in that order.

In her working life, she was a journalist and public-affairs officer for the U.S. Army. Inspiration having deserted her, Volponia has not written much of anything in quite some time, but hopes to get back in the saddle again... oh, yeah, and to do some more writing, too.

Among her less pleasing traits she numbers unrestrained pedantry and a lamentable tendency to think she knows it all. She counts on her friends in ERWA to set her straight.
