Out of the Toy Box by Kyra Saunders
The Form 4 was well-packaged in a rather standard retail packaging box, though I wish it was in a more permanent/archival box for storage since I need to store the charging base with it. With my toybox, keeping toys with the charger that belongs to them is a challenge. The charging base for the Form 4 is distinctive, though, as it’s a white stand that the Form 4 sits in to allow the contacts in the base to touch the stainless steel “button” on the bottom of the vibrator. I think the same stand is used for all the Jimmyjane “Form” vibrators but I’m not completely certain of that. The Form 4 vibrator looks a bit like a bowling pin but, to be honest, my first thought was it looked like a sex toy Weeble (the toy that wobbles but doesn’t fall down). Yah, I know, sorta weird and borderline icky. We’ll go with bowling pin instead. Despite the way it appears in pictures, the vibrator is not round in circumference but rather oval. I found out later that this is quite handy, actually. The silicon was smooth and tasteless, no odors or sense of residual mold release. My Form 4 had a seam line from the mold which I’d gather it will probably not be an impediment as the silicon is soft. The Form 4 is also not floppy, which I always fear, but it is a bit flexible. One of the first things I noticed was the simplicity of controls. I hadn’t bothered to read the manual (why break my perfect record of never doing so) and instead just started pushing buttons. It was really not too hard to figure out. The Form 4 has two buttons molded into it – one is a bar shaped speed/intensity control with a barely visible “+” and “-“ symbol and the other is a round button with a symbol I can’t make out. Pushing the “+” end of the speed control turned on the Form 4 at its lowest speed and its straight vibration level. A bit of button pushing taught me there were five levels of vibration and four different vibration patterns. Each pattern could be performed at any of the five speeds. Because the Form 4 is waterproof and I’m confident of that since it doesn’t have charging ports or o-rings, I decided to test it out in the bathtub and really recover from my crappy work day. A bath bomb, lots of hot water into which I lowered myself slowly with required hissing and “hot hot hot” comments and the day suddenly became MUCH better. The Form 4 really won me over. Not only did it deliver intense vibrations to my clit and vulva, the second of the four vibration patterns seemed to make the tip of the vibrator rotate in a circle at the same time it vibrated and that was instant orgasm for me. Remember I said the vibrator was actually oval instead of round? I discovered how good a thing this was when I dropped the Form 4 in the bathtub. Instead of chasing it all over the bottom of the tub, it vibrated in place a bit but didn’t roll. If you are looking for a great luxury vibrator that is really well made, is waterproof, rechargeable and powerful without sounding like a jet engine, the Form 4 might be the vibrator for you. It’s especially nice if I really liked the Form 4 vibrator and it now has a place in my toybox and I managed to set up its charging cradle in the headboard of the bed so it can stay charged. The Form 4 may be my new “go to” vibrator, especially since I murdered another bullet vibrator last week. Kyra Saunders
