Of the iconic symbols of American masculinity, only cowboys can evoke as much erotic fantasy as a biker. You could say that bikers are the modern evolution of the cowboy. Both thrive on the mystic of the loner, the man with his own code, of wide open spaces, and living at the edge, or beyond, civilization. But where cowboys are limited to horses, bikers have horsepower. They have leather, grease, and an outlaw image no clean cut all-American cowboy can compete with. No wonder the thunderous voice of a Harley makes us sit up and take notice, both of the machine and the man sitting astride his gleaming crotch rocket.

In Simon Sheppard’s "Two Bikers in a Room at the Motel 6," Duane tells Trav, “Harleys are all about pussy. Big-time pussy.” Trav can’t quite figure out Duane. The guy says things like that, and then says he wants to be ass fucked. The weirdness, and the potential for violence, keeps an edge on this story of two bikers hooking up out on the road.

If being the guest victim at a biker gang bang is your fantasy, check out "Sturgis Bang" by Logan Zachary. It’s Dylan’s first time at the Sturgis Bike Rally. His friend warns him that things get really wild after the sun goes down. As promised, Dylan soon finds himself surrounded by bikers in the dark. They tie him spread eagle between two trees and tease his cock while they cut off his clothes. He gives a little token resistance, but loves every second of the rough use under their hands.

There are a few science fiction/fantasy stories in this anthology. "Engines of the Night" by Landon Dixon, "Road Rider" by Jay Starre, and "Speed Demon" by Wade Johnson blur the lines between men and machines in near future worlds, while "Wild Child" by Christopher Pierce has a gothic twist. Dusty Taylor’s "Tulsa" has the feel of other world, but I’m not sure I’d call it science fiction. The narrator cruises a guy he calls Blue, but ends up leaving the bar with Rico. As he and Rico hit the road, Blue keeps turning up. Is Blue following Rico, or the narrator? Which one is the bad guy? Both Blue and Rico are outlaws, that much is sure. And the sex is great with both. Beyond that, the narrator isn’t sure what matters.

If you’re going to be abducted by a sadistic muscle bear and become his sex slave, make sure it’s one of Jeff Mann’s characters like the trucker from "As It Flies".  While you might spend a lot of time tied up in uncomfortable positions with a damp gag in your mouth, you can be assured that as a perfect Southern gentleman who take his duties as a host seriously, he’ll see to all your sexual needs, protect your health and sanity, and above all, make sure you eat well. Even the conversation – assuming you earn time out of your gag – will be top notch. Did I mention how genial your abduction will be? You’ll even be given a chance to escape. But after he’s made your darkest fantasy come true, you might just want to sit still behind your duct tape and wait to see what your generous host has planned for later.
