Calls for Novels, Novellas and Book-Length Works

Go Deeper Press publishes well-written erotica that appeals to the brain as well as the brawn.  Essentially, we want great story writers who can pen hot, thought-provoking, edgy sex. We're especially fond of works that break boundaries, combine a balance of thinking and feeling, and model sexual pride.  Accepted works will be full, original stories that would still be exciting if the sex scenes were cut.

We are currently looking for:

Novels (over 40,000 words)
Novellas (over 20,000 words)
Novelettes (over 7000 words)

In addition, we are interested in themed, single-author story collections of five stories or more.

At Go Deeper we are also open to sub-genres, including literary erotica, dark erotica, erotic horror, fairy tale, real-world fantasy and magical realism.  Sex writers that we dig include: Sarah Waters, Angela Carter, Alison Tyler, Shanna Germain, Anne Rice, Dennis Cooper, Steve Almond, and Heather Lewis.

Guidelines: Please submit a double-spaced Microsoft Word document, using a 12-point serif font, such as Georgia or Times New Roman. One inch margins, please. If you are using a pen name, include both your real name and pen name in your email cover letter and on the manuscript itself. Also include a list of previous publications, if applicable. If you are a new writer, let us know that you are committed to editing your work.

We buy first international electronic rights.  We pay a minimum of 25% royalties on longer works. No reprints, thanks.
